Thanks! I've been around for a few months, mostly reading. I'm so excited to get my new truck, but the waiting sucks. I wanted my truck to my exact specs and they said they never ordered them that way and it had to be a special order. Knowing it's only a month or so away makes the days go so S-L-O-W...

 

I spoke with TJ Humphries at The Auto & Truck Outfitters (ATO) in White Marsh (assuming this is part of the same chain) back in October for a cap and I felt like I was just a dollar sign. I already had quotes going into it and they wanted 10-15% more and were not willing to work with me unless I gave them my contacts at the other location, and even then they would not guarantee they would match or beat. When I cross shop I don't kiss and tell. You either trust me and make money or you don't and I take my money elsewhere and make them money. I also tell businesses this is my best quote can you beat it, if not I walk. I walked from there. Also his responses were slimy. Kept defaulting back to policy, but then would talk about already breaking policy. Either way, no es bueno. But I did end up getting the cap, just had to drive a few more miles.

 

They will, but if your out of warranty it comes from your pocket.. at that point its cheaper to pick something up from wheelers

 

I only ever had a powertrain warantee so it is what it is

 

In that case its gonna come out of your pocket... and to be honest a three leaf AAL is gonna do a lot better than the single leaf Toyota puts down there, and an entire replacement leaf pack is even better.

 

Hmmm... may be the same place, but they don't list any additional locations on their FB page. Is this the place?

Ah ha... on their main website, they have the White Marsh location listed. Hmmm... the guy I spoke with, Bryan, was very helpful and didn't push me. Anyone else?

I just planned on buying a bigger full pack when i lift in a few years. I have no issues its just that i had a buddy snap a stock pack and i started doing some digging....didn't know there was a TSB, shame they didn't make that an actual recall so that ALL of them had it

Does my exp. mean you will have a bad one? Nope. But make sure you shop around and don't take crap from shops. You have money they want, but you can get the product you want other places. You have the power, don't let anyone convince you otherwise.

 

yeah.. starting in 2012 they made the 4 leaf standard... but im still on the fence, im getting the AAL because of the cost, but once i kill that assembly ill probably go pick up the OME rear packs, ill already be running 884 coils up front so i might as well match the rears.

 

One of the things i'm looking forwad to in Maryland. used to go see them all the time as a kid, but haven't been in years. parents took the boat out to watch the Blue Angels fly around the Naval Academy in Annapolis for their graduation.

 

Incredible technology and control ain't it?!

 

The Blue Angels and the Thunder Birds have both flown over my house numerous times... Its amazing to here the "sonic boom"

 

I'm hear from AZ for my brothers graduation from the academy. Made sure to go to URD and buy parts though

 

thats gonna be me if i find myself out west and happen to be able to get some fab shop stuff installed.

Thanks brother, that is on the list but I was getting ToB kit and 3rd stage clutch. Won't have room in my carry on for the y pipe
