    Are our fuel pumps submerged?

    No...blind faith in how well I know my truck. The needle still moves a little when it starts up, so there's something in there...

    I think I'm actually going to do laps at the walmart next to BP...lol. The gas station is in the same shopping center,

    No...might have 1 or 1.5 max. Will be interesting to see. Most I've ever filled up is like 18 gal. Usually fill up before 1/4 tank...

    Follow the yellow brick road
    fuel pumps are submerged by fuel which cools them down. When you run dry there is nothing cooling your fuel pump which is why it would burn out.

    i see that this is hail, not rain.. but am i the only one who has a bathtub in their bed after it rains? its really annoying to have a soaked bed on an otherwise dry day....
