    just read in addition to the frozen bottle ideas u guys mentioned, soak a white towel in water and drape it over the cooler during the day. this helps the outside of the cooler stay cool, allowing the inside to stay frozen:) i think i may try this!

    The truck is done days in advance. Just have to buy the Essentials, pack the Remainder of the gear in the truck sunday night and we are ready to hit the road.
    I'm proud of myself haha.

    My selectable locker is going to be a permanent locker for the trails this time around when i slide the rack at the trail head and leave it there, but oh well. Shit happens

    not the worst idea either. i drove around all last year and the year befor locked the entire time with no issues. not the same locker but a heavier truck with more power.

    ARB front bumper w/ Warn M8000 winch and lights, 3" lift, Tire gate tire carrier, All-Pro Expedition leaf springs, weather tech floor mats.
    If you ad salt to ice it brings down the freezing temperature making it keep your food colder but it will melt faster. There is only one way to raise the temp but that deals with pressure and a cooler can't handle that.

    After thinking about it over and over i realized one of the coils in the motor burnt out so it doesent engage/disengage all the way. I know the sound of the rack not being aligned fully, its a pretty noticeable, shitty, sound. That has to be what it is.

    I think konsta might be right. I might be light enough that I can get by if im careful.

    thats the conclusion i came to. it hits the dead spot and just like you said, it doesent make a full sweep.

    there are little to no tacomas in junk yards here, and i really dont have any time. so i have to make the best of it :(

    ill check it again...not sure if i actually compared them side by side. but we used a good motor and mine and it sounded soooo un healthy compared to a good motor. like it was really struggling. and half the time there wasnt even any power comming through motor. its hit or miss
