Na, you are going Mike.. No need to flip the shackles this weekend when next weekend would work so much better, for me :D

I did dual color LED strips :p

Low power amber in the foot wells when the headlights are on, and high power white when the dome lights are on. So essentially white light when you open a door or use the remote unlock.

Kaleo, you are going to need the kit. The stock u bolts are square shaped, need rounded ones to fit the axle.
I ended up getting the one from toytec

What's your plan of attack for the rivets? Mine is collecting dust because I am dreading doing it... And did you paint or powdercoat yours? I haven't gotten anything powedercoated before, thinking of getting it done.

    I had mine powdercoated.

Gonna grind the heads off and punch them through with my air hammer....just like I do at work, but on a larger scale.

could use a 1/2" thick plate and drill some holes for the u-bolts and another in the center for the coller pin.

Did you powdercoat it yourself or take it somewhere? I only heard of Mekala and the one in Pearl city industrial. Is it called sunset?

Good Luck, Lmk how that method goes... I read that some guys use the chisel on the air hammer to get the rivet head off. I'm so not looking forward to doing this project..

If you buy, at least it comes zinc plated for some rust prevention.

A guy at work has a friend that has a shop.

It shouldn't be any harder then some of the screws I have to pull out of panels at work, it could even be easier because the rivets aren't heat cycled and extra hard.

4 dyas to flip some u-bolts? Try 4 hours :p
Sunset is in Pearl city industrial. I took my bumpers and roof mounts there. $90 for the roof mounts, $270 for each bumper. Little pricey, but not bad when you compare it to the bedlining quotes I got.. And they do really nice work. Media blast, clean, powder primer, bake, powder color, bake. And most all of the 300+ colors cost the same. I think the candy and custom mix colors cost a little more.

    In need of $$$
You can do either method.. If you can use an air hammer, I don't think you need to grind.. when i had ti hit off a couple rivets off the frame, I did the grind one side and chisel off the otger.. If i had an air hammer to hit off the head (instead of grinding) it may have been faster and easier.
