Sweet. I'm hoping you'll take me out for a ride on the interstate so I can check wind noise!

For $25 it's worth a shot with this trip of mine coming.

    Yes, illegal.

But it's covered by a DOT requirement that's application to state law is extremely vague and almost never written for. I tried using the same law for HID's in halogen housings. Had the right judge, but he wasn't comfortable without doing some research. Should give you an idea on what the "get away with it" factor is.

    Intake, exhaust, lift. Typical stuff.
    Wasn't fun :(
Not sure about legalities, but it sure would be ugly.

Hahaha no something along the lines of what a plate bumper looks like. Then maybe covering it with line-x or something. I would use a solid piece of oak. I'm open to suggestions though. Stock tacoma ones seem to crumble when you hit stuff with them

That's by design, absorb the energy so your body doesn't have too

True. Maybe that is why they have scrapes lol

The Ricochet ones do seem to offer nice protection from sticks and stuff coming up into the CV boots. I have a little more piece of mind with them there. None of the other ones seem to have the big kick-out piece

this is a pic I stole off the forum since I dont have a good one of mine.

Scratch that then. Just looking for some cheap options. Anyone got any ideas? Junk yards around here don't have any tacomas in the yard.
