Denso part# PQ16TT and there is a 4507 under that first number on the end of the spark plug box. This is what the guy at AAP gave me when I asked for plugs for my truck. Any suggestions?

    PS

    I have the 4L. 6

You want any of those numbers there in bold. I would recommend the standard ones (3381)

PQ is a platinum plug but I don't see it listed here^^^. Denso doesn't list a platinum plug for the 1GR on their website.

Thanks Ben. Guess I will take these back and get the standard 3381. Wonder why his computer showed the plug he sold me? Oh well. Dont want to fuck my truck up with the wrong ones. Truck only has 9000 miles anyway.

    Thanks again
    Chad

9000 miles? Why are you changing them? Is something wrong? I wouldn't worry about changing them until you pass 30k.

I know that you are gonna think I crazy as all hell but I have an extreme case of OCD when it comes to the maintenance of our vehicles. For instance I am changing out all the gear oils in the truck this weekend over to Royal Purple fluid. I have also purchased some of the Redline D6 ATF and will be changing that out when I find someone with a machine to do it. I know that there is a way to do it myself (and I wish I had enough confidence) but I am not too sure of how the process goes. Wish there was a good write up like the one Chris 4X4 did on the spark plugs for the ATF cooler line exchange. But yeah I thought that I would get those factory plugs out and put new ones in with the anti seize. But if yall recommend against I will wait till 30,000. Ill consider any advice in anything I do.

in my exsperince ngk's are the best plugs.i've used nothing but ngk's in everything dirtbikes quad's lawn mower's and my cars and trucks.if your truck did't come with platinum or iridium don't use them unless you've done some engine mods like cams,sc,or tc

X2, but I have found the NGK's gap grows a bit more than the Denso plugs do on the 1GR-FE engines. All the gaps I have checked on the NGK's seem to be out of spec, near .050+ while the Denso plugs seem to still be within the FSM specs.
