last night it "looked" like a shoulder to shoulder hit - dirty, but not a head shot.

Carcillo should of got 20. I'm an on ice official, I've done hockey up to the and including the junior level, and you never intentionally hit a linesman. It doesn't matter how hard, why you did it, etc. We are there to protect the players and every player knows that. Too me what Carcillo did is the figurative equivalent of assaulting a firefighter at a fire. I'll get off my soap box now.

IMHO Carcillo is a clown with a history of injuring players with extremely questionable hits that makes Raffe Torres Look look good. It's only a matter of time before someone is killed by a guy like this on national television, and when that happens you can kiss goodbye to the good ole hockey game.

The hit was not only late, but its a blind sided hit. I think 3 games, or 5-10 if it were regular season

 

Likely 3 or five. Has there been a 4 game suspension? Seems to always be 1,2,3 or 5. WhTs wrong with 4?

Yeah local radio here in Alberta covered that. They played his release on air. I have to admit konopka at least said it was his fault for taking a banned substance and apologized that it happened.
