Maybe those rubbing have a different wheel offset/backspace?

Mine don't rub under most normal driving cases, Just once in a while when turning hard. Even when they don't rub they are very tight at full lock. I knew going in that a 295/70/17 or at least the trail grapplers were a hair over 33" and I might have some issues. I just got my LR UCA's in today and the paper in the box states you can gain more clearance at the rear of the tire with these UCA's. with caster set to max. I'm pretty sure the combo of the slightly over 33" tire and my springs being a little saggy in the front is my problem. It prob didn't help them driving them around for 3 weeks with the coil seat flipped and preloading the coil. With everything installed correct I get about 25.5"-25.75" from center of hub to the wheel well. I think wobble gets 26"

    Edit:
Box of goodness came in lol. even got stickers and candy, lol. I got the spacers from ToyTec because wheelers was out of them.
WTF ToyTec, I didn't get any stickers or candy from you guys lol.

My truck only had 500 miles on it when I measured 26", so it may sag a touch over time. I'm curious where you will be after the spacers.

You're going to LOVE how the truck rides with those UCAs! I put mine on +2 degrees (which is 0 on the chart) and was able to get 3.95 degrees positive caster with the factory adjustments maxed out (for max tire clearance). My girlfriends truck (same lift) was only able to get 3.6 degrees caster with the UCAs set at +2 degrees, so we moved it to +3 degrees on the UCAs in order to achieve an end result 4.2 degrees caster. I adjusted the UCAs for max positive camber on both trucks and the camber dialed right in. This also gives most clearance between the ball joint and the coils spring.

I'm going to run 17x9 -24 offset. So I think that puts the bs at like 4.2 or 4.3... Not exaxtly sure. I guess if all else fails, I will run my spacers for awhile until I find a tire that fits.

Should be ok, maybe have to trim the front fender a little but should clear the cab mount. Sometime's the spacer makes the rubbing worse. Its totally different on every truck though. Kinda weird these tacoma's when it comes to rubbing.

Never seen a -24 on a 17 x 9 wheel. If your back spacing will be in the 4.5 range the offset is -12.

My coils seem a little on the soft side to me. I would rather my truck drive like a truck than a car. I had about 20,000 miles on it when I did the lift so I'm wondering if a new set of coils would be of any benefit? Maybe a set of Eibachs? What you guys think? I think they would also remove any factory rake I still have and sit the truck totally level.

Maybe we should contact King or Icon and see if we can get a deal on some coil overs for those that want some. They may give a price break if we band together.
    Whose in?

LOL! I thought I was being different by ordering the dakars and 1.5" blocks. Everyone else seems to get custom alcans.

Hauling all the camping gear last weekend sagged the shit out of my truck and turned my headlights into owl spotters. Couldn't see a damn thing driving up in the hills. What made it more frustrating is knowing I had springs on the way.

Looking forward to getting them installed this weekend. Anxious to see what height they will be with 1.5" blocks. According to what I've read others get with the dakars, I should be right where I'm at now for height (26").

Yeah man. I haul heavy shit everyday for work and I can't stand it anymore!!! Going over bridges is real fun maxing out the bump stops every 90 feet. I get everything put on Friday. I'm losing sleep every night hoping that my tires won't rub the spindles.
