    I have driven over 100 miles with my bike in the back like you see in the picture I posted and it didn't moved. With that said, I plan to tie it down with the rings we have in the bed next time I take it somewhere.

    Yep, they are steel, with a heavy textured powder coat. My new powder coat guy puts an unbelievable finish on these.

    Got mine thanks. They provide great functionality and looks pretty good.

    One thing I would recommended is better protection for the ends during shipping, cause that's the weak point and mine were pretty bent out of shape. Luckily, they can easily be bent back but they do lose their original rigid straight shape.
