Hey there everyone, I have a quick question.

Is there any way to retract my antenna on my 2012 prerunner? It always hits trees and I'm scared I'm gonna break it off haha.

If I can't are there any good antenna alternatives?

    Thanks again,
    Cameron

I read some of the reviews and it said they lost signal. Did you lose any signal?

    Thanks! It's an 09.

Careful being a girl and asking questions. Usually ends up catching a bunch of hard heads. Lol I'm. Sure they will be in. Here after the holiday

I went through various stages of hacked stocker, floppy and a modified CB antenna. Now I just run nothing and keep a floppy in my glove box.

I am running a Cravenspeed "Stubby". So far I haven't noticed any lost reception. I'll report back when I get out in the mountains to see how it works.

I don't get any reception except for the local country station. It's just a bolt that happened to fit there. FWIW the stock antenna chopped in half had just as good reception as full size and better than the floppy.

It's a shorter antenna so it's not going to be as strong as the full length atenna... that having been said, I still get all of my stations just as clear as I did before and I travel from 1hour outside of the city into the middle of it for work, and then an hour back out of the city and get all the stations just fine.
