I have a 2007 PreRunner with factory steel wheels.I am wanting to replace them with alloy wheels. My question is can I have the current TPMS sensors transfered to the new wheels if not can I legally choose to not have them?It seems new sensors cost about as much as one alloy wheel. Like to hear any alloy wheel suggestions. Thanks,

unless it's a state inspection thing, you can run w/o them. i've had my light on since the day i bought it and swapped wheels.

LARGER WHEELS. DIFFERENT STEREO. PUSH BAR. TAILGATE EXTENDER. WIPER MOD. TPMS LIGHT DELETE MOD.
My steel wheel sensors fit my aftermatket aluminum rims, but after a few years the batteries began to fail one after another so I got rid of them. I did the black tape mod. Its a 20 minute job. Doesn't butcher anything, it's reversable and no more blinking light. Just my 2 cents.
