Deep one or thicker one is going to have more surface area thus more cooling. Won't affect airflow so much a spool up time.

That one is 4" which is fine.

However 3" inlet and outlet is a bit big for the power numbers your going to be running. 2.5" will be more then sufficient tubbing and inlets outlets and is what I'd use

Every day. :( I was seriously ready to buy another 1st gen last week and trade in my Honda but not having the tow capacity to haul my SAS around is what killed it for me.

This thing is nickel and diming me to death, almost as bad as my ex-wife did... Spent over $100 today on misc BS... $50 alone on 1/4" stainless bolts for the windows. I need another dimple die which is $50... gotta order up probably ~$300 more just in tubing to completely finish the bumpers, cage, and interior... plus I have no idea how much sheet aluminum for the floor, firewall and extra cab area.

I bought a large sheet of 14ga and another of 1/8" for tabs & gussets. I'm making my own tabs by the boat load to save some money. $1-2 EACH otherwise.

They cost too much... at least to get one now anyway. If anything, I think right now I'll keep the Honda until the truck is finished, then start looking for a tow rig. 2nd Gen, Tundra, F-250... I dunno. :notsure:

Seriously wanting to get rid of it? How much?:spy:

Why anyway? I can't foresee you ditching the hydro steer and make the 1st gen streetable... Planning on going with a Tundra or something?

    And because race truck.

Haha, well the hood will be refinished. Something like this I think

Spent most of the day getting the D60 under the truck AGAIN, made some dimple die gussets for the boatsides, almost finished the bed section and... cleaned the garage!

I'm holding off on part of the bed until I pick out a new fuel cell. Thinking of going for this one because like the dumbass that I am, I didn't double check the rulebook before jumping on the RCI cell that I picked up a few months ago.

I got a brand new one of these but U4 (and I think most other sanctioning bodies) require the bladder in a box style.

Yeah I think that's what I'm leaning towards.

Seems that's about the size most are running (or so I thought?:notsure:). The Fuel Safe one I linked, I was eyeing the 25 gal one. Should I be looking at the 32 gal instead?
