My pede should be getting delivered via UPS later tonight.. Too bad I won't be home, so gotta have it delivered to my neighbors..

Wedding tomorrow then a dinner.. Won't be able to even get to the arms, sway bar, shock caps and shock towers till Sunday, but then a get together near Waimea. Probably out on Monday with the "plan" my wife has signed me up for.. Gotta do the good thing (especially cause the $$ I recently dropped on the lede + accessories.

    FUN…
I got the Pede last night, ran it in the house for 2 minutes then started to take it apart.. (not sure if a good thing or bad thing when you have had a couple of beers).

Installed the Proline arms (longer than stock and the RPM ones and came with longer and beefy shafts), RPM shock towers, RPM front bumper, Traxxas sway bar and blue aluminum shock caps.

Ran it outside just now for a bit and the thing has the worse turning radius ever, but is almost glued to the ground.. Would constantly flip the slash (even on 50% power), but couldn't flip this thing..

If you have a slash, look into the proline arms or the sway bar.. I don't know exactly which one makes more difference as I have both on.

The only thing I gotta get a lesson on is adjusting and dialing in the steering, and getting it aligned.. I may have to call those "Scotty's alignment" guys, aka Miles, Kaleo, or Nate to align my pede up.. I think I'm gonna have a ton more fun with this mini-MT.. Pics to come..

Steering trim knob on the controller. Pretty straight forward, if your pede pulls right turn the knob to the left and visa-versa. Just make sure your doing the adjusment wen the truck is moving so you can see how much your adjusting it.

    stuff...
If you got extended arms for the front, you need to adjust the steering turnbuckles too. If it looks toe'd out, make them longer to bring the toe back closer to neutral. Run a little toe out on the front and the rear should have some toe in built in to the mounts. Too bad I can't make it out Sunday, working...

Yea.. That is easy..i got that already... what I was taking about is what Ryan is talking about below.. and more.

Yea.. i changed out the turnbuckles to longer and thicker ones. My toe, chamber, and everything else was out.. i also looked on YouTube about adjusting the steering servo cause it was also out of whack , turned all the way to one side on the controller and still pullling. I need to re center that as well it that looks easy.. The whole toe and chamber thing is what I may have to learn what it is supposed to be.

Alright.. Guess they actually make a tool to help with camber and toe adjustments. May actually buy the toe one.. my speed square does just fine for 0 camber. All set to go.... what time you guys going out to sandys tomorrow??? I may just come out. Plans changed...

Got Miles's truck converted! Took it for a test drive.. KaBOOM!

lol, just kidding! Was pulling on the bead to see how hard it was gonna be to clean off the old rims and the tire just shredded in my hands!

Had some issues with the motor mount because I thought it was a Savage X, but it is not.. Kinda easy fix since I had shiny new Savage X frame plates just sitting around. Then the upgraded battery boxes are a custom fit, not a direct fit like the ones Miles wanted but they were out of.. Drill press made easy work of it :D

Did a 4 wheel alignment, camber was off, and the rear toe was set for racing not bashing. Then had to tweak the brake discs a bit to smooth out the application of the brakes. Adjusted the second gear clutch so it shifts smoother and more evenly spaced. Adjusted the reverse linkage. And finally, mounted the new tires. Running on 4s, with the smallest pinion, this thing is like lightning! Way faster than my truck.. Can't imagine what it would be like on 6s.. Or even 4s with the larger pinion. And I D-tuned the motor for now! This truck is crazy fast, but it is probably about 60% of what it is capable of! Any more and stuff will start to break quick

If you have any extra screws for the truck Miles, try bring um. Some were missing from the skid plate. I never have the right thread size.

I'll align the heck out of it, if you want :D IF you like do um yourself I can kinda show you how to start. Center the servo first, then get the shorter of the two links dialed in to how you want it. then match the length on the other side. Finally dial it in on the controller till it drives straight. Camber is different. Load the truck up with the battery, lift the front (or back, whichever you are adjusting) a few inches and drop it. See how your camber is as it sits, then adjust till it looks good. Lift and drop again, see how it looks and fine tune. Easy trick is to do one side and then match the length on the other side to get them close. Then fine adjust as you need. I have one of RPM's camber gauges somewhere, but honestly I have always had better luck doing it by eye.

If your toe is out, that could make it turn like a grandma.. But monsters don't turn too well anyway, tires so wide is why.

I'll be there about 1215 or 1230. Maybe earlier?

I'll have the family in tow.. Leaving this side about 11 then head towards Sandy's. Pick up lunch, and possibly a quick run to Ross ( to make the wife happy), then to the beach.. Lunch probably gonna be a Costco run.

Have my white 10x10 (cause last time it was HOT)..

Stuck at work... Nate, I think Neil is talking about end point adjustment, as in the steering is maxed out and the servo is still pushing. Idk if can adjust that on the radio for him.
