Our '99 Jetta has auto up and down on BOTH driver's side and passengeer.

    I wouldn't call it a luxury vehicle.

I also wondered why this is not available.

I don't drive my husbands MDX much, so I don't remember. Don't they stop 3/4 of the way up and you have to hit the switch again?

That is not correct. My ex-wife's 2006 Rav4 V6 Sport has Auto Up/Down on both front windows. Same thing with my carpool buddy's 09' Honda Accord.

This made me chuckle at how times have changed.

I don't know if I am getting old or what but this is a tough truck. The tacoma is about as cushy as you can get. Yeah, the Tacoma is a truck. Well, it's truck shaped.

No auto up. No auto down.No down at all. Just a crank.

It seems reasonable that cost is a factor.

What I want to know, is the price difference.

How much more money for the auto up feature? How much more for each window?

Touche. However, I wouldn't say the Tacoma is "about as cushy as you can get." Below are about as cushy as you can get.

Email Kevin at http://www.kptechnologies.com/ and tell him you want him to start making products for Toyotas. He used to sponsor a G35 club I started in Florida and he gave me several products to demo because guys in the club would see my car and purchase his products. He has all remote control options: auto down, auto up, stop in the middle, sun roof open, sun roof close, sun roof stop in the middle, etc...
It's awesome in the hot summer to walk up to your vehicle and double click the OEM remote and have your windows go down... definitely a head turner. :D

DEI makes a relay auto up and down, but it's not a 5 position switch, but a 3 position switch, so to crack open the windows, you have to push, then pull where you want it to stop.

I want a real one where you click half way then push fully for auto (and same for pull)

The VW GTI has auto up and down on both front windows. I know there are a few other cars that do have them, just cant remember. Usually they have a pressure sensor, so when rolling up it will not pinch someone's arm...or choke some little kid.

My G35c also had auto up/down on both windows. Also... I tried pushing down on the window as hard as I dared to not snap it... it never stopped. Not that I really care... but I do miss auto up/down on both :/

I agree, after trading in my Scion tC I miss auto up. Obviously, it isn't a big deal, but certainly would be nice in my case.
