If you can get the M1114 H1 and take off all that armor weight except for the undercarriage armor, there isn't much it can't do. It's a turbo diesel with some kind of electronic suspension and inboard on the axle disk brakes.
My 2nd deployment when the mechanics finished fixing one for any reason we had a 20k metal shipping container we would pull with it in 4L 1st.

The Humvee I drive is all up-armored with a big shelter on the back full of networking equipment, heaviest Humvee in the Army. It only has 600 miles on it but man are they gas guzzlers. Just this last training exercise I burned 1/4 of a tank in 20 miles haha

I bet, not MPG but GPM. That's how the LMTV and 5ton bobtail and trailer where when I drove them. When I was stationed in Korea and drove the non armor ones they didn't do too much better, but they went faster.

Id hate life without a truck. I drove through a flooded intersection the other day from all that rain and since it was dark I didn't see it till it was too late, no way I would have made it with a car. Not the first time that's happened lol

Anybody here been hit with this crazy weather we have been having?

We got hit pretty hard with hail yesterday, no damage to the house but it was crazy, and that was the first time I have heard the tornado sirens along the foothills..

I got hit with about 3-4 inches of pea sized hail on Wednesday here in the springs. I was at an in door graduation and my truck was at home, no damage to the truck, but it did strip almost all the leafs and small branches off my trees.
And I just got my yard cleaned up.

It's strange, I'm only 4.2 driving miles from the Toyota dealership that got ruined, less as the crow flies and just got hit with a lot of small hail. I'm glad about it though.

Ha exactly.. Our LMTV's are the same. We have 1 of 2 up-armored in our company, everything else is just a regular trucks. It's those cuz I have a/c and heat in both the cap and the shelter haha
Damn! I remember it hailed the weekend I got my truck in 2009, I about cried, but I didn't get any damage

When I was driving home and saw all the hail on the road and everything else I was like oh boy. Got home and everything was good. Then I saw Lauren's post and was like thank god the big stuff missed me.

That's a bit out of our range. We're looking at a 36k one. We don't need the super cab, dad wants more bed space anyway.
