I wanted something different than what everyone else has. My dual light bars will cover it up though.

Which reminds me... Does anyone know where to get new end caps for light bars? One of mine is screwed. I saw one for like $60 but that's a little much.

I like it, definitely different than anything else I've seen.

Just giving you crap. :D As long as you like it, that's what counts. But if you want my .02, I'd make it smaller or black.

Thanks. Dislikers can dislike, but it's nice to have something you don't see on on 20 different trucks here.

Finally finished the fix for my flapping fuel door. (Try saying that five times fast.)

Try putting them in a coil wind up and rotate it around. May have to use a hammer to get them in and out.

What kind of coil spring compressor are you using?

You may already know this. If you are using this style coil spring compressor,

then you can disassemble the fulcrum end of it, which will allow you to manipulate each arm to more easily attach it to the coil spring. Once attached, reassemble and compress.

Did you rent the compressor from autozone or something? I had the same problem when I installed my OME. I managed to get the retaining pin like halfway on, but the 883s were making the comprssor bolts bend. Sketchy as hell!

Better save it and put it into the build fund.

Attempting to follow here. Sorry if this is not helpful. You can't simply unload the coil by lifting that side off the ground then turn the collar?

I've done this on a friends and it wasn't that hard. Is the collar seized, maybe?

I could see where using the heavy-duty handcuff zipties might work. Maybe put them on with the side loaded and then unload it?

Yeah my 881's were similar. Thought I was going to die with those vatozone compressors.

I would go with the zip ties but make sure they're heavy duty and have the metal tabs.
