measured from the outer diameter of the steering wheel (the grip part).

Mine is all at the slip shaft mating to the rack. Reminds me, I should see if I can tighten it some more or time to replace.

I need to pop the tie-rod sleeves to see if the inners need replacing. And I need to get mine aligned.

Yea, it's kind of screwy that they give that spec, but it wouldn't be the first time the FSM was way off base. I have zero play.

That's maximum so I can believe it. Extension on top of extension, you're eventually going to get some slop in the system. Mine has had freeplay in it since I bought it but has gotten worse over the years.

not worried about ITRE, those are a consumable part in my eyes, every 18months no matter what, its the internals of the rack that i care about. plus im sure a normal ITRE would have snapped with box rocket, hes got a bit of weight on his rig and he plays with some rocks. stuff breaks and i would rather it be in Tie rods and not the rack

I need to check my ITREs. Being lifted, I'm sure it is not kind to it.

After doing it, I'm finding lifting an IFS increases maintenance. I'd still do it all over again.

That's crazy. There should be "claw washers" that are bent down against flats on the ITR along with loctite preventing any "unthreading" and complete loss of steering.

I think I will just paint/dip it black. Snow Camo in moderation for me.

Finished wiring my Raptor LED's. Just used two, there's a rib down the center of the grille that's in the way.

Coincidental with today's discussion. I installed my AAE steering rack with Energy Suspension bushings and new OEM OTRE today.

I bought mine after Timmy's research. Apparently, they supply the racks to Safari Ltd.
