Houston area (along with DB's not from Houston) BS thread

Took me a quarter tank to get to the beach. Then three quarters of the rest pulling people out.

 

They only warranty an actual leak. As if it was dripping on the ground. But they won't do what they call oil seeping out.

I'm at work looking for parts and tires. Nothing good on craigslist lately.

 

Smoking ribs, hanging around the house.

 

just drove back from blanco. dealt with the shittiest weather for about 4 hours. the new duratracs did great in the rain though

Idk bout the km2's but the all terrains sucked balls. I went about a quarter mike down Collins sideways once just because it wouldn't hook.

I'm between these and nitro trails for my next set. Or might just keep the stock 265/75 Bridgestone duelers for an all purpose

Duratracs are good I liked them. Liking my nitto terra grapplers so far too

 

i like the duratracs. They're pretty aggressive for an all terrain and they are much better on road than my BFG MTs. also great offroad.

 

nothing like selling a 30 year old tire for more than every other AT on the market

 

Just had some guy stop by the house, ring the bell and tell me he was looking at my truck. His friend is a member here. White double cab 4x4 with light bar over the roof. Pearland guy. I've seen him driving around a bit.

 

how much did you end up getting them for?

He's rehabbing right now. I talk to him pretty regularly. I don't think he's back to work 100% yet.
