Not certain but if it has an AAL or helper spring, the longer end goes to the rear. As far as the + for which side, I am not certain.

I documented the install pretty thoroughly in the link in my sig.

Short answer to your original question is:

    1. no diff between driver and passenger on leaf pack

    2. End that comes to you "open" without a bushing installed in it goes to the rear into the spring hanger bracket. Be sure and lube up the bushing and its bolt thoroughly with the provided grease. If they didn't give you any, you can use vaseline. Don't use ordinary grease, it'll deteriorate the rubber over time.

On some search I did on the TW on the Dakar packs I've seen some reference to an a or b side (driver or passenger) can someone show us where this mark exist? Or is this an urban legend.

2nd gen Dakars are not side specific but may have a + , 0 , or a - on them

A + indicates a pack slightly over spec
    A 0 indicates a pack at spec
A - indicates a pack slightly under spec

If you get a mixed pair , put the highest spec one on the driver's side to help with Taco lean

I am about to install the OME kit this weekend and it doesn't have the trim packer for Taco lean, but my truck doesn't seem to lean towards the drivers side at all. Does this only happen once you change suspension? Should I get one before I have the shop put together the coilovers for me?

edit...just realized this post is hella old....oh well

I'm in the middle of my install right now, having a shock/bushing issue (bushing on the new shocks are too small, 16mm...need 19mm)
but by tomorrow I hope to at least have the new leaf packs in.
if you look at the picture, mine came with an arrow, pointing towards the front (top of pic) and shop told me A & B referred to driver's (A) and passenger (B) its at the tail end of the part # CSO46R(A or B)
if yours aren't labeled with the arrow, look for the bracket holding the overload springs, mine are situated forward of midline
