But I agree with the majority. If you aren't doing any major gaming or anything go Mac. If you are then custom build a PC. Only way to go because the prebuilt ones are kinda crap.

Display Resolution. "Simply the physical number of columns and rows of pixels creating the display (e.g., 1920×1200)"
23" = the size of the monitor.

Mac makes a 24 inch computer. It's crazy!

Ok, guys!! I've got a MacBook!! Wow this is different! I need help people. Does this tool bar thing stay at the bottom all the time? I got on the internet by using the Safari, is that the only way? It kinda goes slow(maybe it's the user) How(can) I make the text a little bigger? AND..... My HP that just died, I remembered that I had that 2 yr warranty from best buy and managed to find it;) So they are sending it off to see what's up with it.
I do have pictures but I haven't gotten that far yet........ (why ain't it putting my smiley faces in? ugh

I have worked on many different laptops and I recommend Lenovo, they are stable, the customer service is great (no operators from India) and they are really easy to service.

Awesome! Congratulations! I'll NEVER go back to a PC as long as I can. :D Mac FTW!

Yes, it stays there, or you can move it to either side of the screen. You can also set it so that it will only appear when you drag your mouse over where the "dock" (Toolbar) is set.

You can use most any web browser including FireFox, Opera, Safari, etc. except Internet Explorer. I've found that Safari 4 has been the fastest, but Firefox is very nice also. I mainly use FF.

You can make the text bigger by clicking "zoom", which is located under one of the tabs on the top left hand corner of the screen.

    Pics when you can! :)

My daughter has a Sony VAIO and it's been flawless, but I personally would get the MAC. Less viruses, lock-ups, frustrations and better customer service. JMO.
