About to order the Icon 2.5 Resi (58735) from Headstrong. I cant find anywhere online what the spring rating is on these. I think I read on this thread that its 650lb. Is that correct?
    Thanks

Cool, I am considering that option. Is there really a big difference in the 2.0 resi vs non resi?

New to this thread, been wanting to improve my ride for two years. The stock Billys are okay for commuting back n forth to work and all, but when you hit any dirt the ride is so rough it feels like I am going to shake my truck apart. I do not really want to do much lift to the truck, just want to improve the ride. My truck is a Pre-runner, that does see dirt roads, nothing hard core, OHV trails in the Sierras and roads around Big Bear. Torn between the Kings and Icons, I go slow, do not really go to fast on most roads as they are narrow and you cannot see around bends, but in the desert is another story. Last note, I do drive several hundred miles on Hwy to get to a lot of my favorite places, so freeway ride is important, thank you for any and all advice, I have been reading this forum for 2+ years and still cannot decide!

I couldn't be happier with my icons and new alcan 8 leaf pack, but I never had Kings or Fox...Definitely improved my street ride.

Mind if I ask how much for the Kings? Money is not really an issue, I just want to do it once and be done! :D

    Then go with Kings.

Their finish is better, they have less "defects", and were not founded on the ideas of a morally corrupt criminal.

+1 for kings. Couldn't be happier with my setup. I also have the king 2.5s in the rear with compression adjusters. Rides awesome on road and so smooth off road compared to stock Billies.

Does Icon have an option for rear shocks with a 3" lift?

3" over the actual stock height or like a +3 Deaver?

Right now I have a AAL with a 1" block. I was thinking of replacing that with a whole new leafpack. Dakar or Allpro.

We have shocks that will accommodate this packs and get the droop travel they offer. Only thing you need to do is make sure the proper bumpstop is installed so you do not bump out the suspension on the shock.
