Squeaking sound coming from my rear?

The past few weeks my rear end has been squeaking really loud and its kind of annoying and embarrassing. How can i get this sound to go away?

Im assuming that you are talkin about your leaf springs squeaking which seems to be a common problem.... mine was the same way and was cured by jacking up my truck to take all the pressure off the springs..... pressure wash in between them real good and spray some lubricating spary of some sort in between them...... you can take a flat head screwdriver and spead the springs apart..... be sure to cover the entire silencing pad with the spray..... this is what i did and solved the problem...... hope it helps


edit: i forgot to add.... i used liquid wrench lubricating spary.... worked like a charm

No problem dude..... i suggest you dont use WD-40.... it seems not to work as well

 

I just let mine break in.

After I got the AALs installed it was sqeaking like a dump truck..

It's better now but still squeaks on occasion.

I haven't been able to stop mine from squeaking, only minimize it. sucks.

 

power wash the leaf springs then spray white lithium grease from auto zone or advance auto on them. ive found that the white lithium grease lasts longer than wd-40

 

Yeah but it turns everything white.....

 

Silicon spray....any autoparts store has it. Works great
