    I tested with both, no change on combined driving, so I buy regular (87 octane). The tiny increase in highway driving with premium did not justify the higher price. The v-6 was designed for 87 octane, and I believe that anything higher is a waste... and I proved it to myself when I drove to Tucson last year.

    I used to get better mileage with Shell or Chevron over ARCO or Costco gas, but no longer... the Shell and Chevron dropped to the same as the Costco gas delivered.

    What up SD thread? Just wanted to drop by and see if I can get any feed back,my son and his wife and my grandson might be moving to SD. I was stationed on 32nd st many yrs ago and loved it, but I am wondering is SD really strict with their vehicle laws? How is the LEO situation out there? Thanks for any info that anyone would like to give.

    I've always just ran premium in all my vehicles because of higher octane and some folks say it helps with the pinging sounds in these 4.0's but who knows...?

    I just have my truck registered back home in TN so the one time I've been pulled over out here in SD I just argued with the cop that it was registered in TN and I was currently stationed here and eventually he just dropped it. Just my two cents.

    1.5" Wheel spacers all around, 2.0 fox coil over with foxes in the back to match it up, add a leaf. 285/70/r16 general grabbers. my magnaflow exhaust k&n intake just threw in some maxtrac spindles. Total chaos UPA. Bunch of other little things

    As far as the trailer I would get a brake controller if possible. I've towed a 6.5 X 12 with a 2nd gen and it did pretty well. Just watch how much you load it. :cool:
