initially it looked wayy brighter than the surrounding paint but after looking at it again today, it seems to have cured more and the color has dulled into looking like the DSM paint. Its not perfect, but it's close enough for me to be happy with what i've done with my two hands.

 

Align that bumper!!!!!!!

Damn good thread! Funny and informative. Your choice of mods definitely helps me get going in the right direction.

My biggest concern is maintaining lift while adding racks, tent, BestTop, F / R steel with gate.

Oh thank god! Looks great.

Coilovers with 700# coils and either OME Dakar's or AP Expo Leafs in the rear is the best bet to help with the weight.

As far as maintaing lift, I did things a little different with using 4 chevy leaf springs(2 on each side) to keep the rear rake nice and high even with hundreds of pounds in my bed with the rooftop tent and a boat attached, I'm really glad i went with that. It was only like 100$ total invested as well so it was good on my wallet. The only thing i need to do suspension wise is crank my coil overs up some more to get the 1/2-1" of lift i lost in the front.

Im pretty much done now... lol my rear brute force fab is pretty much done, I'm just being slow about fully paying for it, i'll prob slap it on around december. I want to do two mods this year(ARB and Rear bumper) and i've already got one half of the list done already.
