Hey Guys I need advice to what type of damage this might have caused...

about 2 months back I noticed oil marking from my trd supercharger lid, took it to dealer they tightened it up. Well lately I noticed that the lid is pushing more oil out, even now past the throttle body seal and I noticed my brakes shuddering on braking and my engine idling rough... I took a very good look at my engine today inspecting for more leaks and look what I found..... The dealer f'd up the vac routing lines for my supercharger with vac & brake booster. I"m guessing they would have had to pull the line to do a brake fluid flush/rotor/pad exchange ? - because I had that done almost a year ago !!!

My question is what kind of carnage is this causing my engine/supercharger/brakes ??

And would they have pulled the lines when the did the brake work and f'd up putting them back in the right spots....

Swap em around, after a year the dealer isn't going to admit any wrongdoing even if you could prove it was their fault.

This is one of the most reputable toyota dealerships in the country. I have spend thousands there across several cars. They will take care of this because the damn truck is shaking like hell and I had a cylinder missfire 2 months back also. I'm not going to ignore this so I can foot a massive bill later when my engine shits out. Right now I need to get info on what kind of damage I could have occured.

Haven't you ignored this for a year already? Idk what kind of damage could have occurred, but the damage at this point is going to be because you drove it for a year instead of taking it back to get it remedied when you first noticed issues.

    best wheel bearings around! www.marionbumper2bumper.com
Both of those vac ports are drawn from the same area. Changing them around would not affect your engine in any way. Doing a brake service, pads, rotors, whatever, there would be no need to disconnect those lines in the first place. Even if they did, connecting them like they did would not cause you any engine harm. Sorry.

i fail to see how having those two lines swapped would make ANY difference. both are going to be under vacuum, yes? as long as they both are connected, they should be fine. :notsure:

I have no idea where you got the idea I waited for a year after realizing the line routing. If their both vacs than it shouldnt be an issue, I wonder why they have it marked on the diagram like that than.

it is marked that way because

-they had to write something...and also
-pre-shaped hoses typically have one right route, and a dozen wrong ones

Slight wording differences. The OP noticed the "error" a year after the work was done. He did not notice the "error" and wait a year.
I assume in this year it ran ok? If the hoses being switched was a problem you would have noticed it right away.

Come to think of it, @Razorecko did you feed an engine cleaner (Seafoam, etc.) through the engine at some point?
