Nice, i have a spare that i''ll toss on, so i'm in no hurry, but i'll give them a call and get a quote for the work.

may have the quote it with new u-joints while i'm at it. had it rebuilt while i was in kansas, but forgot to specify u-joints with grease zerks (my own fault), so that needs to be taken care of at some point.

Hope everyone enjoyed their memorial day weekends.

Went out to the beach with SMKYTXN. made a 20 mile beach run it what turned out to be fairly sketchy at times, as far as beaches go, to get to a very empty portion of the beach. Nathan has some pretty serious kites!

Yup, that was a pretty interesting trip, with lots of things to see.

    1. Got to watch the Galveston police hand out $500 tickets to line cutters while waiting for the ferry.
    2. Able to drive a 20 mile stretch of the abandoned hwy 87 which has be reclaimed by the beach.
    3. Saw a group of "men" hanging out on the beach, one was wearing a t-back. Not something you want to see.
    4. Colin waved to a FJ Cruiser driver and was happy to see another Toyota on the beach until he realized the guy was completely naked. Twigs and berries
    5. Saw some floppy boobies as we drove past
    6. Drove through some sketchy seaweed covered beach. Only had one real scare when the passenger side dropped into a hole.
    7. Watched as car after car tried to get through deep sugar sand at the entrance to the beach. We just walked right by them all.

    Did I miss anything Colin?

We ran it Sunday as well, but eastbound. We hit the beach right at high tide, around 1:00. Definitely some sketchy places. We did our best to stay out of the seaweed, but had to venture into it a coule of times. My passenger side tires dropped into a pretty soft hole at one point. Just a little pucker factor. :D

Gotta love Crystal Beach's nude beach. Lol. Yuck.

It was much better before the beach was eroded so badly and before it was taken over by naked old men.

Haha no kidding? We roled off on the high island side about 12:45, it definitely had some pucker factor venturing out into the seaweed. We had a friend who insisted on taking his 02 4 door f-150 out, damn thing is heavy and sunk to the frame at one point and I had to pull him out. We used to go rabbit hunting out at that old electric substation, but that was before the "road" was so tore up and a little eaiser to get down.

Yeah, saw some dude and his wife waving at us so we waved back....till we noticed what the hell we were looking at. Needless to say we went a little faster after that.
