X2 That sounds like a great idea and one that I would really like to implement.

Couple of shots I use bungee nets over the side seats for soft gear etc and the center rack is set up for hard stuff eventually I plan on a ham up there w the face plate in the sunglasses compartment. A yaesu is what I was looking at... The center rack is on a pair of carriage bolts so you can swing it down if needed. The rack bolts into the rear grab handle locations. No holes needed. And this was mounted in my '10 which took a tbone hit from a Hyundai Sante Fe at 50mph and the rack didn't move at all....

Nice setup! Looks like it would be good for rifles and bows during hunting season and lots of other stuff that you always want to have with you.

This was taught to us in boot camp. Not bad if you don't mind your sock tops being a bit stretched out.

Great idea! You could put it into a quart size zip lock bag with the air squeezed out to compress them and to keep them dry and you'll have an extra bag too.

Complete OME kit w/ 881's and dakars. All-Pro Sliders, CB, HAM Radio and various other minor stuff.
Use to do this with my duffle bag. I'd roll my duffle down then roll my clothes tightly before putting them in. Once full, I'd unroll the duffle another 6" and keep going. I was able to fit a ton of stuff in there by doing that.

Occasionally someone will smack their noodle, but I padded as much of it as I could. Six foot 4 and over seem to have issues but other than that not so much really.

eVent vs GoreTex basically the same thing. Gore costs the manufacturer more to purchase due to licensing and such. Asolo Fugitive boots, check them out

They are pricy, expect to pay almost $300, my brother has them though, he loves them. My next hiking boot I think. Just waiting on my Salomon Quest 4D GTX's to wear out. I bought 2 pair because they were so comfy.
