Mine was 22.5" or so. The Dana 60 is right around 24.5" from the body mount, if that matters.

    Thanks!

No, that's good to know. Helps me get an idea as to where mine is at or should be at.

The outlines of the body mounts are the only remaining reference points on the frame. Literally every single tab/bracket/mount was cut off.

Dayum... I tossed the D60 in place the other day to get it ready for shocks and it's sitting at 27.5" from the body mount. I'm sure there's some adjusting to do, but not a lot room to accommodate 'drastic' wheelbase changes unless I chop and move the panhard mount.

It doesn't really seem ridiculously far forward to me. :notsure: Unless the 40s filling up the fender area are making it look that way? Haha

Looks about right to me, but I'm no expert.

Remember, the axle moves forward when flexed so you don't have to go super far forward with it. Depends what you're trying to achieve.

Yea it looks forward but not out of place.

Bigger fuel pump for turbo is fine for now. But you don't need the piggy back or even larger injectors till you boost. Leave room for intercooler and turbo and you'll be good

Sorry correct me if I'm wrong here but wouldn't turbo lag be shitty for crawling?

Depending on the size of the turbo you should have little to no lag. Plus with brake throttle modulation you could crawl and keep it some what spooled. A turbo crawler would be fun as hell built right.

Right now it has about 4-5" of up travel. It's set so at full bump/articulation and full lock to the passenger side, it'll clear the panhard bracket with the tie rod at the front, and the double shock bracket at the rear.

The steering stops on the knuckles are still factory set to what looks like 35-40 degrees... but I don't know what are acceptable numbers in that regard. :notsure:

Pretty happy with it. Seems strong enough and flows really well, IMO. I'll add some gussets where the X meets the frame for additional support for the winch. I added tacks at either end to ID which side is which, knowing that my dumb ass will wrestle with it for ten minutes before realizing it's backwards.

I spent nearly the entire day measuring, checking, measuring, checking, making sure this will clear that, measuring some more, and finally started mocking up the shocks.

Where the axle will be at full bump. Used some conduit as a place holder for the bump stops.

So far, so good on everything clearing and looking like it'll clear okay for everything else (bypasses, bump stops, sway bar, limit straps)

    [IMG]DSC09764 by wyo_taco45, on Flickr

And full bump to full droop, the pinion angle changes only 5-6 degrees
