    whats the best car receiver for a 99 tacoma?? or the type like pioneer, jvc, ect.

    you will get a ton of answers.. just start looking at them online and read reviews..

    personally.. i only use kenwood.. pioneer or alpine.

    i have found those 3 have the highest quality and features.

    i just installed today a pioneer avic-7010bt. i dont need dvd, so it was a perfect optiop for me.. install went perfect.... and it looks great.. but i have a 09 double cab.

    alpine...not what they used to be but they have the best ipod integration around. kenwood has suffered in the quality department for years. not using the quality components anymore. jvc was just bought by kenwood last year. sony=crap. pioneer is a solid preformer. my vote goes to pioneer or alpine, but you have find your needs(ipod, bluetooth, nav, dvd, sd card, usb) and buy the reciever that fits your needs. again this is just my opinion.

    lots to list, i will get back to this one..
    I'm loving my Pioneer P800-PRS
    Can't go wrong with it, super sound quality, and a bunch of audio options that make it sound great for all types of music. Plus the 5V pre-amp outputs are always nice.

    Step bars, billet grill with custom TOYOTA, MB Quart RSI 216 components, Hifonics ZXi 4410, RAAMmat deadened doors/back wall/roof covered with ensolite , 24" Magnaflow muffler, hand polished stock exhaust tip, tinted, OEM TRD Bilstiens all around with 1/4" spacers up front to level it out. Sport wheels added.
    PIck a price point you are willing to pay, take any of the top manufacturers (Alpine, Kenwood, JCV, Panasonic, Pioneer, Eclipse, Sony, etc...). Once you've done that start looking at what features you want. This is a very personal choice and only you can decide that.
