Okay, I took a road trip this past weekend and on the last day there and the way back, me and my two passengers didn't feel well. Now all three of us are sick with an upper respiratory infection, and when I'm feeling better I'd like to try and clean any nastiness left out of my truck. I have no idea where to start, but I can't be the first one too have needed this, any guides/suggestions/tips would be greatly appreciated.

well, if it were me, I'd clean everything normally with all the normal interior cleaners, I would also shampoo the seats or use something like "tuff stuff" and spray the inside with some lysol disinfectant spray and call it a day.

edit: you could also try one of those steamers to clean and disinfect at the same time.

Vacuum thoroughly before doing anything. Clean floor mats separately from the truck (in the house or somewhere where they will he out of your way for interior cleaning. Foaming carpet cleaners for all upholstery and carpet, a damp rag and s dry rag for dash and other plastics...elbow grease is helpful (careful not to get things too damp). If the air is super nasty, you can use ozium air santizer to clean the air in the truck and all the air circulatory equipment. ArmorAll original for plastics and dash when they are dry and all air treatmeny is done.

To keep things fresh, put an arm and hammer fridge pack under each seat and replace them every 30-90 days to ensure absolute freshness. Also vacuum regularly and use air fresheners (vent clips and little trees) of your choice.

Any questions, just ask...i'm always here to help :)

Folex works wonders on carpet and seat covers.

Are you worried about germs of vomit?

Try wiping down the surfaces with a Clorox or Lysol wipes and follow up with your cleaner for plastic surfaces. Do not use on the clear plastic gauge coverings,

Go rent or buy an ionizer and wipe the entire interior down with windex.
