    What's up guys, I'm having some AC trouble in the truck. Went to a local shop for a recharge and turns out it didn't need it, actually had a little too much. The compressor starts when I hit the button however it stops after 5 seconds and the AC light flashes. What do you guys think it is? The shop didn't have time to look into it/he didn't know what it could be

    is the clutch engaging and then disengaging and the light flashing? did the shop evac it and then put the correct amount in?

    Yes it engages then cuts off with the light flashing. I believe they only removed to the correct amount

    have to completely evacuate and then refill, it's not like deflating a tire. If it's overfilled it won't run.

    Do a search on here about the relay for the system as well.

    I just dropped 5 bills on a new compressor, receiver/drier and expansion valve.
