Is this a legitimate? If so, it is a baseball slang term. It means 3 batters went UP to the plate from the dugout and all 3 got out in some form and went back DOWN to the dugout in consecutive order. If not legitimate, ignore my reply as I am dense!

We were doing "Good Morning Vietnam" quotes. Billy watched it last night, and I happen to have watched it a couple of weekends ago.



Any progress on your house/wedding conundrum?

 

Awe! Yes. She finally came around. We are focusing on getting the home first and foremost. After 2 nights rest she understood and saw it from my point of view. I would say a little to much so. Lets just say most of my mod money is gone. We get the purchase and sales agreement today and the closing should take place some were around the 10th of July.

I guess I didn't get the quote as I have not seen "Good Morning Vietnam" and didnt read they few posts before I posted...

That's a great choice, personally. Putting a roof over your heads is a lot better investment than just putting a ring on her finger.
Of course, I'm speaking from the perspective of a guy who's owned two houses and isn't married yet...

 

It's a little extreme, but I got married in Vegas. Total trip was under $3k, the actual wedding was a grand including tux and dress (bought).

In other news, got the new Powerman 5000 disc yesterday..gooooood stuff

 

I can't really talk though, after we bought the house we saved for another year and then spent just as much money as we would have on the wedding as we would have before
