Lol I'm on the same boat as you. Can't decide between 265 and 285 duratracs. If the mpg is not that much different then maybe 285 is the better choice with some trimming.

Okay, well I have 265/50/20 right now, which converts to 30x10.43x20, what tire do you think I should get? 265/75/16? 285/75/16? etc

I've heard that's a good choice of leaf pack. how much additional lift did the 885s give you?

Don't have my lift yet. I'm still waiting for them to come in the mail. I'm hoping I get around 2.5" from the 885s.

I do plan on getting new UCAs.. Just not right now. I've seen guys around this site get 2.5" more of lift while running with the stock ucas. I guess it depends on your truck-- some need it and some are ok without it.

i have 2.5 lift with stock ucas n havnt had any problems yet. adding the 285s gave me another inch as well but i had to add spacers so the tires didnt rub on my ucas..now if you get rims and tires you may not need the spacers i only needed them with the stock wheels

How does that work? Needing them with one type of wheel but not the other?

Search for back spacing. Different wheels have different offsets and backspacing. The stock wheels will rub your ucas with 285s unless you use spacers. He was saying if you get some aftermarket wheels with say 4.5" back spacing then you will not need spacers in order to run 285s.

Truck looks awesome. Are you still running the spacers with the new Method's?
