I would love to have something real fast, but this is going to be more of a family truckster. I had a wrx when I was in college. That car was a blast, but got me into trouble.

My girlfriend has a new Rav4 and it's actually a really nice car, gets pretty bomber gas mileage too and is all wheel drive. Personally I think it's a good choice.

 

Probably going to go with the suby. I am finding loaded up ones with less than 10k for around $22-23k.

 

Looking for more support in the back. I have a pro comp 2 in aal right now. If I get the 2 3/4 Dakar leaf pack will that give me more lift than I already have? Wheelers also have a aal for the dakars. How much will that add? First Father's Day present is the reason. Help me with info

 

You'll be at the same height as now with your shell jerry, but a lot more support! I just got my dakars in, hopefully install tomorrow. The extra leaf will fetch you a full 3" I think, check out Dave's build, that's wash the has... nvwiggins

 

Also. From what I hear, they ride super stiff...

 

Just installed mine on monday along with some OME881 coils and billie 5100's.. Got one leaf from 4wheel parts in 1 week and the other only a week later!! ha

I have a OEM right taillight for sale. The car wash on Longley busted my left one so I replaced all with the blacked out version. So if you need the right rear taillight make me an offer.

He hasnt done his springs yet and he's leaving town this afternoon til the end of the week I believe Steve... Might want to double check with him
U-bolt flip kit is on hand though.

Saw this rig at a truck stop in Lyon county a couple days ago. Dunno where they were heading with those shiny new D4D's, but I'd be happy to take one of them off their hands!

 

so who is all going to the Lucas oil offroad racing friday and or Sat! Most likely going both nights but was wondering if we were all gonna meet up Friday night or anything like that?

I'm going Saturday with my GF and I think Nate is coming with us too.
I think our plan is to head over there around 5 and check stuff out and then get seats for the races that start at 7. Parking and everything gets pretty busy if it's anything like the regular races the last 2 years. First night race so we shall see!
