So close to getting these on 2 different occasions......I just can't get past the weight of each of them.

My brother had them on his rig and he said they wore out real quick too.

My Mud Grapplers have worn well, and lasted longer than I thought. I do think it depends on the type of driving you do too. I do a lot of city driving so there's not much heat build-up on them. If you did constant highway miles on very hot pavement like in AZ, then I doubt they'd last you.

Looks absolutely incredible! I couldn't be happier!!! :kona:

Couple of thoughts on the drive back to work.

    1. Amazed at how good the ride is (just like stock), even with my poor stock leafs that are now perfectly flat thanks to the shitty 4" blocks that come with the kit. Can't WAIT for my Alcans to get here!

    2. Surprised at how much power the truck still has. One of my biggest hesitations on choosing the Trail Grapplers was their weight. I really didn't want to make my truck insanely slow just to have a killer look, and that doesn't appear to have happened at all. I even ran the AC all the way back to the office and the truck still has PLENTY of power. Which leads to my number 3....

    3. TOTALLY doesn't need a re-gear. I was thinking gears were going to be first on my list of next things to do, but now I think it's at the bottom, if it's even on the list anymore. Trucks runs GREAT with stock gears, even on the highway. Very impressed. Maybe I'll just put that gear money towards my supercharger. :D

    4. Brakes on stock Taco's are TOTAL shit. Man, I thought they were bad before, but this is ridiculous. Excited to get my SS lines installed this weekend so I can actually slow this thing down!

    5. Rubbing is non-existent, and the shop did almost NO trimming. They trimmed a tiny, tiny bit of the plastic on the inner fender, but so little I almost didn't even notice. I'm guessing all you guys who rub either have wacky offsets or only rub when you're wheeling the shit out of it. :notsure:
