2014 NCAA Football Thread

The SEC needs to play a legit preseason instead of pancake teams.

 

Last time I checked Wisconsin isn't a pancake team

So that's one preseason game. Wisconsin still isn't a big dog though. I'd like to see every SEC team play a PAC 12 team.

You guy played Oregon 3 years ago in Dallas. Every LSU fan was still crapping themselves all Summer out of fear that they had to play a real team in non conference.

Do it every year and you'd have a leg to stand on.

He's new here. As a fellow Oregon fan that has realized this thread is just an sec lover thread, I've quit caring you guys play patty cake in pre season.

 

Lmao, I'm a Beavers fan. I hate the ducks, but make sure you keep a good stock of adult diapers in case the NCAA schedulemakers decide to force your team to play Stanford, UCLA, Arizona State, UW, or even the Ducks again.

 

I forgot South Dakota was a powerhouse

 

Oh and I almost forgot about Sark and USC.

 

And you open with Portland State, another west coast powerhouse

So Oregon will get one of those types of games. How many will you guys get 3? 4?

Btw, when are you guys going to play as many conference games as the rest of the country? Don't tell me you guys are afraid to play an extra SEC game. Oh wait, I forgot. The BCS system is gone. Lose a game to a team from your conference and it might actually affect your post season, lol.

 

Then have those teams play the best teams from other conferences every year. Or are you too afraid that what happened in the ALA/Okla game might happen more often?

These games are scheduled years in advance. When LSU/Wisconsin was scheduled they were both some of the top teams in their respective conferences

But at the same time, you were glad your team didn't have to play them.

An SEC schedule typically only has 2 or 3 tough games a season, often times only 1.

 

No, this year I wanted my team to play Bama but they got beat by the better team and made for one of the best BCS championship games I've ever seen.
