2014 NCAA Football Thread

How about playing Okla in a preseason game? That's what I was referring to. How about playing good teams from other conferences every season, a true test?

 

I have the confidence that last year we would have taken just about anybody. We beat the best team that was out there(thought we were gonna lose, Auburn's triple option is deadly)

 

You're a Noles fan? My beef is more so with the SEC schedules.

You guys should have played Mich St. in the Nat'l Champ game.

On a more serious note, I'd love to see Oregon play a legit SEC team again. Auburn and Oregon was entertaining. As was LSU and Oregon.

 

Mich St. beat the then #2 Ohio St. Auburn got lucky vs. extremely overrated ALA.

 

Sorry but I believe the best teams are in the SEC. Wish FSU would join it lol

 

Preseason game = non-conference game

Bad wording on my part. I get my NFL and NCAAF words mixed up.

As far as Oregon and SEC games, I'd love to see that every year. It's a win-win for me. Either the always-overrated Ducks or the always-overrated SEC get nocked off their high horse.

 

And you're entitled to your opinion, but wouldn't you like to see the SEC have to prove it every year vs. the best teams from other conferences?

Man, you really are afraid of your team playing the bests from other conferences, aren't you?

Why are you afraid of the non-SEC teams? Are you afraid real QBs and a speed game might destroy your SEC fantasy world?

 

I'm just giving you crap. And in my 3 years at LSU we've opened with a top 25 team every year. I don't like blowouts of Plainsville Junior College anymore than you but it's a fact of life

I like seeing the upsets. Those are fun. NDSU and KSU from this past season was an entertaining game.
