If I could take a stock 2wd 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Westfalia through the Mojave Road without getting stuck, you'll be fine anywhere in the desert. Momentum is your friend, but don't over do the large whoops. Enjoy! PS: If you haven't run or heard of the Mojave Road: http://dirtopia.com/wiki/Mojave_Road (It's one of my favorite trips)

Or head out to Johnson Valley. Lots of stuff out there. It's where they hold King of the Hammers.

Gorman is fun on motorcycles. I've tooled around in my old Jeep around there, but the open desert is WAY more fun. I've never been to Anza Borrego, but it's also on my list of places to visit. Big Bear is fun to both 2wd and 4wd vehicles.

Gorman is fun. Dove Springs would probably be more fun though.

    Hey All,
I think it's time to get my clutch replaced. It's been slightly slipping and I don't want to burn the fly wheel. Besides Toyota of SB is there any other solid places to take my truck? I haven't have the best luck with the dealership... Thanks in advance
