Simply having a radar detector doesn't keep you from getting tickets. Knowing how to use them does.

I've got a radar detector in my truck and I have no idea why. I rarely speed, and its never intentionally.

However my radar detector has definitely alerted me to hiding cops long before they're visible. On a long stretch of highway it'll go off a few miles before passing them, or before I crest a hill/corner they're on the other side of.

My radar thing goes off constantly though (with automatic doors and what not), so if anything its just a constant noise that reminds me not to speed. As apposed to an alert that a cop is trying to write me a ticket.

Now that we have our own category in the forums is there a lost & found section? I found this plate about 1 mile in on Bunce school road from CO Hwy 7. Maybe KodiakToyTRD can look it up on the database & tell the owner(s) where to find their plate??

Just got married this past Saturday. We took a short honeymoon in Telluride, CO and my wife indulged me by letting me finally take my truck out for some proper breakin. Less than 2000 miles on it and I finally got out on some trails. Needless to say I'm addicted and ready to drop some serious $ on parts.
