Ok, that's the part I was wondering about. I kinda figured that out on my own by playing with it but wasn't sure if that was how it was supposed to work.

As for the changing the case fluid, that was my first thought too but wasn't sure if there was something more I was missing due to my lack of knowledge of 4wd.

I'm new here, just joined the Long Beach thread a few weeks ago. Anyway, I just picked up a unmolested '02 Taco. My plans are to lifter her (3" lift), tires and armor. One of the first things on my list are rock sliders and eventually front and rear bumpers.
Is there a preferred shop that everyone goes to near LBC? I'm always down to support the local guy working out of his garage - if he's community approved. Thanks guys!

 

Go and order a few differential studs and the Toyota dealership is telling me they need to a VIN number to special order them

Are most of the trails at Calico do able with ifs?

 

hahaha trust me, I want to...I was going to do it last night but then an epic hockey game happened so yeah...also wanted to wait until I have a spring compressor because I wanted to take off the coils on these used 5100's so I could put on my stock coils instead. I don't know where these coils have been, how old they are or what they've been through. that and i STILL don't have trail armor.

 

Bring it over tonight and i will watch you work on it.

I can't tonight. gotta swing by my folks place and help them move some furniture tonight. Besides, with traffic I wouldn't get to your house until probably sometime after 8pm! That and I so broke right now I couldn't even afford to bring you a 6pack for your help.
