I can't wait to leave. Taxes, traffic, liberals out the wazzoo. Nope, I would love to live in Wyoming, Montana or Idaho. There just isnt any work in there areas for what I do.

I noticed a few pages back somebody tried to throw in some Darwinism with living in California. you are correct, I am not near "forward" enough to live here. just cant figure out how to fit all this states junk in my a$$!

I like Portland, OR and the surrounding areas. It's a large enough city to have all the amenities of a large city, but its not too big. There are mountains, forests, rivers, deserts, and beaches all fairly close. People that I've talked to that have moved here from other parts of the country say getting used to the rain isn't that bad. The cloudy skies/lack of sun has been a little hard for some of them to get used to.

A city south of Portland called Sherwood was ranked the 5th best place to live in the country by Money magazine. I wouldn't call it a suburb of Portland because its not part of the metropolitan area, but its not really that far from Portland. Minnesota has a lot to do. The northern half is pretty much just forest and lakes. Also plenty of wheeling and exploring can be done up there. Good fishing lakes can be found all over. The girls on the lakes are super fine. The cities have tons of jobs for everyone, and it is cheap to live there. Traffic in the cities sucks so I would live out of the suburbs.
