Anybody have a link to the wire snip mod to turn off the daytime running lights. I know its on the back of the fuse block and that the wire is green with red stripes. The problem is that I found several green and red wires and I don't want to cut the wrong one. photos of the exact plug and wire would be good. thanks

    Just a few LEDs...
I don't know if there is one wire that you can "snip". My 2012 uses the front turn signals as the DTRL. I identified where these are all the way back at the fuse block...or at least the wires that provide voltage to the turn signal lamps when the signals are active. Cutting these would also prevent the front turn signals from working.

That gives me an idea though. I just did a mod to my mirror turn signals to make them stay on with the parking lights but still work as turn signals. If no one has a mod to kill the DTRL I could probably do something similar to have them off or on with a switch but always function as turn signals.

Again, I did my turn signal mod on a 2012. Your wiring may be different.

Behind the fuse box, there's a green wire, that cuts off the DTL and still keeps your turning signals working. Searched for the thread regarding the melting lens but couldn't find it

This is the one I followed. I didn't bother with a switch cause I wanted the DTRL's gone. So I just snipped the wire and wrapped each end with electrical tape...good to go.
