Yes!! I was in Texas creek over the holiday weekend. It was not bad back by bull gulch. I might be running browns this weekend, will be in clear creek on Friday.

Mine are Yakima racks. Maybe that's the difference. Mine have a foot print and the towers and bars can pop out leaving the foot print mounted in my roof rack track.

I haven't made it down to Texas Creek yet, I will have to check it out. You rafting or kayaking browns?
Are you camping near clear creek? There are some mice places when you get up past the ghost town.

Rafting, just a group of friends chasing the run off. :D Texas creek is good because you can camp all year long there. It gets pretty warm in the summer though, the cafe at the turn in is amazing! Won't camp while running clear creek because I've got a buddy that lives close.

There was someone i knew on here with the Ayer, ended up going bigger. Maybe he had a family who got interested in it or what. Just my 0.02. I was gonna get an Ayer until i found my current RTT for the price.

Yeah I have been searching local for a while with absolutely zero results haha. Once I get my BFF hybrid in, and sell my ARB bumper, I will be joining the cool kids club with a RTT!

If it were just me and maybe someone else the Ayer would be an option. I have the kukenam and my wife, daughter, and my self sleep just fine in it.

I was considering the Ayer but decided on the Kukenam. Mostly because of the comfort factor (extra room).

That's funny, I dealt with high winds and dust storms that same weekend way over in TX as I was driving through Amarillo all the way to almost Albuquerque...

Got my fire pan for BLM land, that will make cold nights better. Plus it has the cooking grate on in which is nice. Good addition to my RTT set up.

I've seen the simple ones, like you drive in over the fire pit. But never one o these. $159. Might need to look harder but it's a great idea cause it works where there are no fire pits.
