I looked through tons of threads over the last 5 days and wanted to see just what the 5100's can do! Has anybody broken any? Ever had a c clamp pop out of its perch? Show pics of what you have driven over, under or through and what type of application your running!! For instance 5100 at 0 with stock springs, or eibach 5100 combo or even ome and 5100's!! Think this can be a useful thread for the 5100's!!

Had adjustable toytecs set at 2.5" and couldn't get the truck over 15-20mph on some rough mountain roads. Truck was going to rattle apart. Switched to Icons and they got smoother AFTER 15mph and better in the 30-40mph range on the same road. I'm not talking whoops but washed out rugged roads with a few rollers thrown in. The 5100's never "broke" as I didn't baby them but they deff have their limitations.

Bought 5100s right after getting my truck, never put them on. I tell you what though they are holding their own with the amount of dust they have accumulated. Shit just the other day I decided to compress one just for the heck of it, darn thing compressed so smoothly it brought a tear to my eye. The shaft cleaned right up on compression and once extended out I can't tell you how nice and shiny that shaft was; not a speck of dust to be found.

    Here to 5100s :proposetoast:

I had them at 1.75 with toytec coils and a mounting plate. They did well. tested them hard and never had a problem. They do not compair to my Icons. If you drive on road or do mild offroading they will be fine. It you want to do some awesome offroading get icons.

5100's set at 0 with 886's... Nothing broke. Ran them VERY hard for the next 3 years till the truck got rolled. They did good but wish I went with OME nitro sports.

Yes. I had to switch the setup out cuz it could hold the wieght I added at 3 inches of lift.

It held up a steel avid bar and TRD aftermarket skid. But when I added the allpro bumper with a steel all pro front, transmission, and transfer case skid I lost almost an inch. It still was fine on the road but I rubbed offroad.

It lost a good bit of oil so it's a little bouncy, but it still works.

I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
What were the 4 levels of height for the 5100s? 0", 0.85", 1.75", and 2.5"?

Felt awesome too, no bottoming out, the only "bump" I felt was the spare bouncing around, & landing in sand does help huge also...;)
