Hey guys, been busy with work so I haven't posted in a while but I came across some problems with my bilstein 5100s and need some advice. I have had the shocks on the truck for about 50-60k miles now and now I feel like my axle is gonna fall off no lie. These shocks were great for the first year and a half. The fronts are at 2.5 and still ride great. I have a problem with the rear shocks though. I have the 1.5" AAL pack which is a great setup. However after towing a couple heavy loads and a few trips to the hunting camp I can now feel every bump in the road. The strange thing is the front shocks are fine but when the back tires hit the bump I feel like I'm gonna loose a tooth. I am running 265/75/16 michelin tires at factory recommend air pressure so I know it's not the tire.Do these shocks need to rebuilt or what can I do? Is it best to replace them. Thanks

When you hit the bump and feel like you're going to chip a tooth are you saying that it is very stiff and jarring after you hit the bump? Does the read bounce excessively?

Yes the front absorbs the impact like it should but the back feels like there is no shock bounces back almost like it had over extended
