    I was hoping to get some advice about getting replacement tires for my 2010 Access Cab 4x2 Tacoma. It has Dunlops on it that came with it when I bought it that are starting to crack. I have been doing some reading and see a lot of praise for the Michelin LTX M/S tires, but I currently have 215/70R15 tires and Michelin doesn't make them in that size and I don't want to buy new rims.

    Can anyone give me a suggestion on what is really a good tire in the 215/70R15 size? Thanks.

    I like Cooper tires..good price for a good tire..Make sure to by them from a tire dealer.Pep Boys sells a cheaper version that isn't as well made.

    Michelin LTX M/S2 is available in p235/75R15. I think you could mount them on your existing rims with no problems. Use the Tire Calculator under Mods & Tutorials on TW Home Page to compare sizes and see what you're comfortable with.

    I did it again. Got tired of paying truck payments and gas and traded in for a 2015 Honda Accord Sport since I enjoyed my 2013 Sport so much.
    I went through 2 sets of Michelin LTX M/S2's before settling in the Goodyear All terrain Adventure.

    First set of Michelins were LT265/75/16E1 that were too heavy and stiff riding, to me. Swapped them out for P265/75/16 M/S2s, and thought the sidewalks were TOO soft.

    Seeing as I want to go wheel on Colorado trails like the Alpine Loop and Black Bear Pass, I wanted someone with a little more durable tread/sidewalls. I discovered the Goodyears and threw on a set of their ProGrade (LT) 265/75/16. So far I am very happy with these...time will tell what the mpg hit as I am on highways quite a lot.

    are you sure you have 15 inch wheels? I would assume Aftermarket.. can you post picture of them?

    I'll certainly give them a look. Bush Tires where I live is saying the Defender in the Michelin but that seems more of a passenger car tire to me.

    I don't really need anything fancy though, I don't do any off roading or such, just city and highway driving.

    I just got the LTX AT2 and couldn't be happier....had the MS2 on another vehicle and I thought they felt floaty/bouncy.

    I have these ^^ as well and like them also ! But now I am thinking of getting American outlaw buckshot wheels and don't think that they will look good together. :confused: So I am thinking of getting some Hankook Dynapro ATm's to go with the new wheels. Just having a hard time justifying getting new tire being the Michelins are just a year old. Any input ?
