yeah they broken parts of the key lock were on the ground where i had it parked. the place we were having breakfast at had cameras and saw the dudes pull-up in a black van. mess around next to my truck and then roll out. I'm still upset but atleast my wife and i were not in there or my dog, who would have just licked them and went for the ride wasn't in there. It just sucks cause I did a lot of stuff to it. you know.

I know how you feel. I had my 09 stolen. Right out of my warehouse parking lot. Skum bag came into my office through an unlocked bay door and took my keys. Next time I saw the truck is when DPS caught the perp and my truck was with him along with his meth that he was selling out of my truck. Of course all my stuff was gone out of the truck and it was stripped of anything identifying it as mine. Insurance will screw you. I lost a lot of stuff in the truck and only got about 1/2 pay for what was in there. Then only got 75% of what the truck was worth. You will come out the looser.....at least I that is what happened on mine.

Did you have an alarm system? If so, what kind? Tilt sensor, shock sensors?

shit best of luck OP. if the outcomes of these incidents don't leave you better off than where you were when you started, then something is messed up. sorry to hear you were screwed, Paidfor.
is it not possible to recoup the losses from the perps if they're caught? seems like you should be able to take them to civil court even after they go through criminal court. People sue for all sorts of physical damages and losses, as well as emotional trauma. Seems like they should spend every second in jail working to pay back your losses. hell the prison system should just pimp them out to larger men until they come back with enough money. I really hope you get some justice out of this

USAA is awesome. Only issue I can foresee is if you told them about the additions you did to the truck. No ins company will cover additions unless they are aware of it before. Sorry, vehicles can be replaced not people, glad to see no one was harmed.

How did they bypass not having the chipped key? It wont start with out the proper chip key.
