So, Toytec sent me another set of OME Dakar leaf packs by mistake. Now I have to sell them to someone or ship them back. If anyone is interested, and my first person in line doesn't take them, it's a pretty good deal. I'm making like no money off of this, but whoever buys them will save $200. (It was $160 to ship them to my house). So if anyone wants to make the drive to VA to get them, they're $350.

Figured I'd let y'all know since you're kinda close. :D

We should have tested this. So far mud hasn't been my weakness. Axling or bottoming out has been my problem haha

So, the yota's not the best truck to tow that boat up here with these mountains haha. It's the first time I've ever felt like these trucks are underpowered. Not only that but stopping power. Some asshole who cut us off decided to also stop in the road and turn around. It was downhill, and I hit the brakes quite a way back, ended up locking them up, but I still didn't think I would stop in time. I do think my truck might have a brake problem. I need to get it looked at

What's the weight of the boat? I'm a bit busy but there is a way to send more power to the rear brakes so you don't lock up as much and stop quicker

You can adjust the rear proportioning valve to operate more. Was told not to cause it's set from the factory at factory specs. I just feel even unloaded, the brakes aren't powerful enough. And I'm not positive of the exact weight of the boat. But I can tell you it definitely doesn't exceed the max weight for the truck

I too feel my brakes aren't powerful enough, but mine need new pads and shoes I think, maybe new shoe/rear brake hardware and a fluid flush

Out new rav4 stops on a time. I love it's brakes. And I feel mine aren't near as good. I just did pads and rotors, and the tech said my shoes were almost new. My drums were gouged from offroad, but he wasn't worried

My mom's '12 Taco stops on a dime as well. Brakes are amazing on that. On my truck...well, let's just say I'm glad I never needed to stop quick haha
