Ok guys I need some help. I installed my 5100's and aal this past weekend. Now when I take off from a stop (around 5-10mph) I get a shutter that last for about a second? I installed the toytec shim in the rear. What else could it be? Thanks!

rear driveline angles... you have now changed them...

try about a 1/4-1/2in drop in the center carrier bearing (use 2 big nuts for spacers)

^do the above. It actually called the center bearing. Carrier bearings are in the carrier lol. You can use washers that add up to about a quarter inch

1/4". You can stack washers from the hardware store. It's cheaper

It should be. Most people just get washers from what I've read. Now I will tell you some people have done the shims and center bearing drop, and still had a vibe. The only thing that really solved it was a new 1 piece driveshaft

Ok so I installed a 1/4 inch worth of washers and I still have the vibe. It is a little better but it is still there. Should I add a little more or would that cause more problems?

Try adding another quarter inch. If that doesn't do it, seeing as how you've already installed the shims, you may need the 1 piece driveshaft. What degree shims did you install?

I had it, had 3 degree shims and a beefed taco CB drop, still there. The axle shims aren't gonna do much for you, try a CB drop up to 1 1/2", if it's still there, gonna have to live with it like I am.

The 1 piece driveshaft will get rid of it. "Living" with a driveline vibe is gonna end up costing in the end. Vibes will eventually destroy u-joints, the center bearing, and seals in the trans and rear end

The vibe I have is very small, it will wear what you suggested quicker, but not by much, been through it before and have 20000 with this without any issues right now. Wish I could get rid of it but buying a 1 piece is not an option right now.

It was just a heads up to the OP is all. I'm currently having a driveline vibe after having a detroit truetrac installed. I believe mine is from something they screwed up in the diff. He tells me nothing can be wrong, but I didn't get the vibe til after they installed in. I also get a roaring noise if in reverse, or at higher rpm on first gear(in the mountains right now so that's how I found it). Some of these hills are so steep I've had to floor it, and the whole damn truck shakes the vibes are so bad

I'm going to. I only had the vibe at first. Went back the next day, as they flipped my driveshaft, and I didn't feel it for a day, then it came back. I called him up, and he says there's nothing he can do. I drove up to NC from florida, and I would feel it off and on. Only up here in the hills did I hear the noise from the diff. So when I go back, I'm gonna run down to the shop and throw a fit. He tells me it can't be in the diff, it's probably something driveline. But there was no vibes till install. And I've had 2 people, one a mechanic, tell me they must not have set it up right inside

I went up to 3/8 drop and it is almost gone. If I go any more that I need a longer bolt. How much is a one piece driveshaft?

Not cheap. We have a local shop that does cheaper work then ordering it. It'd be cheaper to get a longer bolt haha. Make sure you get these bolts tight. They come out and your driveshaft falls with it
