Idk what I have but I love it. It's a beam type and I prefer it over a clicker any day.

Ive had my craftsmen clickers for a long time. no idea how "out" they are, but I always treat them good.

 

Bring it to sears and get a new one... Lifetime warranty

Ehh so it breaks and ya get a new one... Can't say its crap if they guarentee it for life... Ive seen snapon tools break just as easy as craftsmen so better is not always BETTER.
